The Dark Sun
Over the horizon, I can see it
Growing influence it catches my eyes
Amazed by the new it grabs you in the weak
Denial finds its way and is yours to keep
Over the horizon, should I reach?
Tempting my weakened flesh
Desires move my mind I don’t want to stay
Illusion finds its way while I am taken away
A Painful vision…
Bound to see that time is enough to keep my eyes from shut
In the dark emptiness cries, passing all just to survive
A torn wound my, innocence deceived
Over the horizon, will it fade?
Satisfy again and relief my pain
As I am trapped by the lie I need to reach
Now the wounds will never heal
Given the option to submit
Or keeping an illusion to resist
There is one thing sure in this shit
The temptation will never care
No energy but hunger will get me through
The reason will clear the way
Wrong for all the reasons
But righteousness will rise one day
